Tutorial: How to Post an Event

Make Your Event Stand Out

To help paddlers find the right events, RallyCrew offers a structured filtering system. However, your event title and description are the most important tools for making your event stand out.

Event Title

Be specific in your title. It’s the first thing paddlers will see. The more details in your title, the better.

Good: "Boofing and Creeking Skills Clinic – Class III-IV (White Salmon, WA, USA)"
Too vague: "Kayaking Clinic"

Event Description

Use the description to clarify details. Filters help categorize events, but your description should provide the full picture.
Include:

  • Who it's for (Beginners? Experienced paddlers? Women-only?)

  • What participants will learn (Rolling, creeking, race strategy?)

  • Location details (Exact river section, meeting spot?)

  • Registration instructions (How to sign up?)
