Code of Conduct

Updated April 3, 2026

RallyCrew is a global community built on trust, shared enthusiasm, and a deep love of whitewater. We ask that you help make this a space where everyone feels safe, welcome, and valued.

1. Be Kind

Treat others with respect, generosity, and empathy. Assume good intentions. Disagreement is natural. But bullying, hate speech, harassment, or exclusionary behavior will not be tolerated. This includes avoiding harassment, threats, explicit content, or any behavior that could make others feel unsafe.

2. Tell the Truth

Be honest about your skill level, certifications, availability, and intentions. This helps other paddlers make safe, informed decisions and builds trust across the platform.

3. Keep It Inclusive

RallyCrew welcomes paddlers of all backgrounds, identities, abilities, and boat types. Racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, ageism, or any form of discrimination has no place here.

4. Respect Boundaries

Not everyone is looking to paddle, message, lend gear, or host visiting boaters and that’s okay. Clear communication is key. Always ask, don’t assume. Be mindful of people’s time, gear, and comfort levels.

5. Prioritize Safety

This is a high-risk sport. Be responsible. Don’t encourage others to paddle beyond their ability. Don’t misrepresent your own experience. Know that decisions made on the river carry real consequences for you and for those around you. RallyCrew helps people connect, but each paddler is responsible for their own decisions, judgment, and risk on and off the water.

6. Keep RallyCrew Scam-Free

Don’t use the platform to mislead, spam, sell fake gear, impersonate others, or defraud members in any way. If something feels off, report it. We take this seriously.

7. Give Back When You Can

Mentor a new paddler. Offer a shuttle. Say thanks. Our community is strongest when people show up for each other in big and small ways.

Violations

RallyCrew reserves the right to suspend or remove users who violate this Code of Conduct. We may also remove content, issue warnings, or restrict access for users who repeatedly go against the spirit of the community, even if their actions don’t fall into a specific category above. In some cases, we may also take action on associated content or accounts to protect the community.

Reporting

If you witness or experience behavior that violates this Code of Conduct, please let us know by emailing hello@rallycrew.com. If something feels off, trust your instincts and reach out. It helps keep RallyCrew a better place for everyone. If you prefer to discuss your concerns over the phone, you can also request a call by email.

All reports are handled with care and discretion and taken seriously. RallyCrew is committed to fostering a positive and safe space for all paddlers. We aim to review all reports as quickly as possible, typically within a few business days.

We're Listening

This Code of Conduct is a living document. We’re learning and growing, just like the community we serve. If you have suggestions, ideas, or feedback on how we can improve RallyCrew, we’d love to hear from you. Simply send an email to hello@rallycrew.com.

Thanks for helping make RallyCrew a place where everyone can feel welcome, supported, and excited to be part of the paddling community.
