Deborah Kane, Boater in Chief (pictured above)

Deborah started boating in her 40s, and now, more than a decade later, whitewater kayaking is still her number one favorite thing to do.

Along the way, she spent three years as president of her local paddling club and plenty of time doing what paddlers everywhere do: searching for people to paddle with, tracking down clinics and instructors, researching trips, looking for events, and trying to remember the flow the last time she ran a particular stretch of river.

She created RallyCrew to make all of that easier.

RallyCrew brings the whitewater community together in one place, helping paddlers connect with one another, plan and log trips, discover events, build skills, and find the businesses, clubs, instructors, guides, and organizations that make our sport possible.

Deborah likes to call RallyCrew a giant online eddy for the whitewater community. We hope you'll eddy out and join us.

Justin Bickley, Chief Connector

A packrafter from Alaska, Justin has built much of his work around bringing people together on and off the river. He manages RallyCrew’s social media and builds partnerships with paddlesport businesses, event organizers, and advocacy groups.

Justin also serves on the board of the American Packrafting Association and co-founded the International Packraft Film Festival, where he helps paddlers share stories from rivers around the world. Whether he’s introducing someone to packrafting or connecting people across the paddling community, he’s most at home helping the right people find each other. Reach Justin at justin@rallycrew.com.

RallyCrew may have started with one paddler’s idea, but it has been shaped by paddlers around the world.

From instructors, guides, athletes, clubs, event organizers, paddlesport businesses, and industry professionals who shared their expertise early on to the thousands of RallyCrew members using the platform today, community feedback continues to influence what we build and improve.
