Kayaking and Packrafting in the Canadian Rockies

RallyCrew’s Paddling Passport Speaker Series

The Canadian Rockies are home to cold, clear flows, roadside classics, and breathtaking alpine runs. From the Kananaskis to the Bow and beyond, this region which straddles Alberta British Columbia offers an alluring mix of accessibility and wild mountain character. But with snowpack-driven flows, glacial melt, and fast-changing conditions, local knowledge can go a long way in planning and enjoying the whitewater of Canada’s cowboy country.

In this Paddling Passport session, RallyCrew connects with longtime local paddler and AQ Outdoors co-owner Simon Coward to share practical beta on where to paddle, when to go, and how to plan a successful trip to Alberta and British Columbia. Whether you’re mapping out a road trip north or exploring virtually, this session brings the rivers and paddling culture of the Rockies straight to you.
